A novel modular opto-biomechatronics bioreactor for simultaneous isotropic mechanical stretch application and fluorescence microscopy under cell and tissue culture conditions. Biosensors and Bioelectronics: X, 100437.

A novel modular opto-biomechatronics bioreactor for simultaneous isotropic mechanical stretch application and fluorescence microscopy has been engineered at the Institute of Medical Biotechnology. Merging bioreactor and opto-biomechatronics technologies allows for cyclic stretch-applications and simultaneous live cell imaging. A research article has been published in the latest issue of the journal “Biosensors and Bioelectronics: X“.
