As part of the MobiliKat project (funded by the BMFTR—grant number 01DR24007), a two-day workshop was held on June 15 and 16, 2026, in Erlangen with participation from the FAU chairs of Chemical Reaction Engineering, Chemistry of Thin Film Materials, and Micro- and Nanostructure Research, as well as the Australian guests Prof. Torben Daeneke, Prof. Ken Chiang, and Linh Phuong from RMIT University, Melbourne. The workshop served as a forum for exchanging current research findings in the field of supported liquid metal catalysts, as well as other innovative catalyst concepts. In addition to scientific discussions and presentations, the event included laboratory tours and preliminary talks regarding the submission of proposals for broader-scope projects in the field of sustainable catalysis. All participants found the two-day event to be very inspiring and constructive.
