Per July 1, 2026, Prof. Philipp Schlatter, Chair of Fluid Mechanics, has been appointed to the Scientific Advisory Board of the Hanse Wissenschaftskolleg, in the area TECHNOLOGY & SCIENCE.
The Hanse-Wissenschaftskolleg (HWK) promotes excellent science through fellowships for outstanding researchers from all over the world. It additionally supports the engagement with scientific research and its role in society through fellowships for artists and authors. The HWK is an independent Institute for Advanced Study and a non-profit foundation of the states of Bremen and Lower Saxony and the city of Delmenhorst.
