As part of the High-Tech Agenda Bavaria, Prof. Dr. Bastian Etzold, Head of the new Chair of Power-to-X Technologies, has been awarded five million euros in funding.

On 29. of June, we had the pleasure of hosting Associate Professor Ivan Kempson (part of the Visiting Professor programme at FAU), a distinguished researcher and expert in the fields of bio-inorganic chemistry, surface science, and nanotechnology, for a captivating scientific talk on radiation therapy and the intriguing effects of gold nanoparticles.

Tanja Franken receives over 1.8 million euros from the European Research Council for her research into catalysts.

FAU is represented with seven subjects among the best 200 universities worldwide among them chemical engineering. The subject ranks among the best nationally.
