Thirteen Department Members Listed as the World’s Top 2% Most-Cited Scientists
Stanford University has recently published an update of the list of the top 2% most widely cited scientists. The list includes thirteen scientists of the Department CBI: Prof. Engel, Prof. Friedrich, Prof. Fröba, Prof.Hartmann, Prof. Hornung, Prof. Karl, Prof. Peukert, Prof. Schlatter, Prof. Schwieger, Prof. Thiele, Prof. Thommes, Prof. Vogel and Prof. Wasserscheid. In Germany, a total of just over 10,000 scientists are listed, including 55 from FAU’s Faculty of Engineering.
Prof. Thommes, Head of the Institute of Separation Science and Technology, is once again among the top 50 in the field of Chemical Physics. He is one of eight FAU scientists who made it in their areas of expertise into the top 50!
