The Institute of Chemical Reaction Engineering (CRT) was involved in the LOReley project that set a significant milestone in hydrogen technology by pioneering new methods for hydrogen release from liquid organic hydrogen carriers LOHC through an innovative plate-based reactor concept.

Global higher education analyst QS Quacquarelli Symonds has just released this year's QS World University Rankings. Good news for the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering: The subject area Chemical Engineering remains ranked number five in Germany. Internationally, Chemical Engineering is placed in the 151-200 band amongst world universities. 

For his outstanding services to research on porous materials for the German scientific community, the Klaus Unger Prize was awarded to Prof. Hartmann at the 35th German Zeolite Conference 2024.
