Welcome to the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at FAU!

We offer 5 study programmes, each one with a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree:

The department of Chemical and Biological Engineering offers many courses for exchange students in English to choose from, most of them at the master’s level.
Bachelor’s students can choose courses from the English-taught Bachelor’s programme Clean Energy Processes. The courses are updated regularly and subject to change.
The language level to study in the English-taught degree programmes in B2 (CEFR) in English.

How do I apply as an exchange student?

You need to submit your application for admission to FAU’s Central Office for International Affairs (RIA). For questions please contact: welcome-students@fau.de

It is possible to study one or two semester at the FAU as part of one of the following programmes:

About FAU - living and stuying in Germany

Founded in 1743, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) is today one of the largest research universities in Germany standing out due to its climate for innovation.
